Canvas Prints Review and Giveaway
Everyone knows that I like pictures. I adore taking them and love hanging canvas prints in my home!
I was contacted by Printcopia to do a review and giveaway for an 8 x 10 canvas print and I jumped for joy at the chance! I hope that you are excited as I am about this giveaway.
Canvas prints is the place to go for your canvas picture needs. They come in a variety of sizes ranging from 8 x8 to 24 x 36! From my experience, it is best to know where you will be hanging your print prior to ordering. You do not want to get one that is too small for the area chosen. For example, a print for behind your couch would look fabulous as a 24 x 36 but one in your bathroom may be best as an 8 x 10! Or you could go all out and do a wall of canvas prints! I am in the works of this now and am looking forward to that reveal in a future post.
If you have other needs, such as signs, then look no further! BuildASign has all of your needs covered there too. From custom signs to yard signs. As I was browsing their site, I came across some great bumper stickers and custom decals. This site has it all!
I ordered an 8 x 10 print of the kids from the beach. It is currently hanging on my wall in the living room awaiting more canvas' to join them! I adore the product. It looks fantastic in my home!!
*I was given a free 8 x 10 canvas in order to review and give my honest opinion. The views are mine and mine alone. No other compensation was given for this review.

Saturday Top Five Laughs
This week has been a whirl wind of emotions. Looking forward to a fun filled weekend with family and friends!
5. Charlie says 'chah chew' for thank you!
4. Logan's version of crocodile is 'crack-ah-dill'!
3. While shopping for Dominic's halloween costume: Logan had his hand over his mouth and kept saying he was scared and Charlie was pointing to everything and laughing.
2. Logan fell asleep on the couch and we left him there for the night. He woke up and came into our room asking for Daddy. Good thing because he had a poop-splosion....himself, the couch, the pillow. I did not have to clean it up!!
1. Charlie was being a stinker and hiding pretzels beside herself. Gary said 'Charlie if you are hoarding pretzels over there, I am going to bop you!" Next thing Gary knows: Charlie is bopping him right in the nose.
Reality Bites
This is that post that you never really think you are going to have to write. The one where you have read a million times about it happening to another person but never thinking it would happen to yourself.
I received my MRI results today and they were not what I was wanting to hear. I was expecting for them to tell me that the mass was no big deal. That it could be dealt with and treated by an injection of medication. Instead, I was told that the mass was in fact a tumor and needed to be removed and sent out for biopsy.
I really did not skip a beat. I asked the questions that needed addressed. I was given my surgery date. I went on my merry little way.
I made the phone calls that needed made to cover my kids and my husband to take me and stay while I am in surgery. This will be the 4th surgery that I have had since we have been married. I am a pro of some sorts, I guess.
Back ground information is that I have had a steady growing lump on my right ring finger for about a year. I have been told by 2 different doctors that it was a ganglion cyst. One told me to leave it alone unless it became painful. I did that. Once it started to be uncomfortable, I went to an urgent care to have it drained. Apparently, they do not do that. So they referred me to a an orthopedic doctor. They did some xrays and advised that it was not a cyst. That it could not be drained. They scheduled an mri to see exactly what they were dealing with. A large cell tumor. For the most part, they are usually benign. They can be cancerous. I was pissed at the doctors who have told me it was something that it wasn't. But I had to move on quickly from the madness and move onto the reality of it all.
I am worried but not to have surgery. I am more scared of how I am going to be 'normal' and keep up with chores and my kids. I should be worried about myself but I am not. I am worried about them. Worried about my husbands job because he has to take a day off and then work from home for a couple days. Worried that if I really do end up having cancer that it will crush my mother. Crush my husband. Crush my kids. Of course I have shed a tear or two worrying about how on earth we would be able to keep up with everything. And by everything, I mean: house work, bills, cleaning, cooking, feisty toddlers and a wicked teen.
I know everything will be okay. I do want to hear it from my husband though since he is my rock. I will keep you all informed with everything and appreciate a prayer here and there!

18 months of being a Girl Mom
Dear Sweet Charlie
You are now 1.5 years old. I think that I blinked. I swear you were just a squishy newborn yesterday!
You are full on running.... all day long! Active in climbing on anything you can get your feet propped up on. You try to jump but cannot get both feet off the ground. It is adorable!
You love to dance around, clap and swing your hips. Your smile is contagious.
You know so many words but still do not say much on a daily basis. You tell us what you want and need with your spunk and sassy looks ;)
You adore books, music, running, hugging and smacking. You dislike getting your diaper changed and face wiped.
Your faces say it all my dear. These months have flown by. I adore watching you grow but slow down a bit baby girl.

More than half a hand
Logan
Dear sweet boy. You are now three years old. It is hard to believe that you are technically a pre-schooler now. *tears* It really feels like you were just born. Just stole our hearts. Just made me a Mommy of more than one.
You are a vivacious little man. Full of fun, laughs, crazy and all around awesomeness. The phrases that you say have us cracking up on a daily basis. You are so sweet and loving. Yet, you can be so feisty and full of sass.
You love all toys from 'wego's' to 'piss-ols!' Still love to watch shows that have singing and dancing in them. Climbing is your favorite thing to do that Mommy really does not like. You can be found scaling anything.
We have yet to make it to the Dr for your check up but I am guessing you are 30# and 36inches. I am excited to see your stats.
The smile you have is contagious. The laugh you have is too. Your adorableness shines through in every thing you do. You are a picture of perfection. I could never imagine our family without you in it. I adore watching you run around and be yourself.
I am so lucky to be your Moma! Keep on being awesome, Logan.

A Very Scary Birthday Bash
October is a great month for a birthday. The cooler weather. The beautiful colors. The fun and exciting costumes!
I had this plan for Logan's birthday. All the kids would come in costume. I would get the perfect group shot of the adorable kids in their great outfits. My idea went out the window in the blink of an eye. Some kids would not wear their costumes. And trying to get 14 kids into the same room proved to be more than half the Mamarazzi's could handle. Ah, whata gonna do? Just chuck the idea and move on!
We had a lunch of mummy hotdogs, sweet potato french fries, skeleton veggie trays and orange snacks. I may have thrown in some pizza too, mostly for the adults. I adorned the table with spider webs, coffins, pumpkins and fun!
The kids ran around, played and decorated their very own pumpkins. (which we picked from the pumpkin patch last weekend) Costumes were a brief thing. The kids were adorable: from a pink bunny to a headless horseman.
Logan wasted no time digging into his gifts and his birthday cupcakes. He was a whirl wind of energy and enthusiasm. His tongue was constantly sticking out.
The kids played hard. Logan had 2 parties and no nap. He stayed up until almost 10 playing with all of his toys. He loved everything. All 3 of the kids do! It was a great day full of family and friends. We are very blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.
