Saturday Top Five Laughs

Happy to be linking up to one of my favorite blog hops, Saturday Top Five Laughs with Melissa!

 

5. While we were gone, Libby missed us so much. She is such a social dog. She would only eat her dog food when my Mom and brother hand fed her. When we got home, she hugged us like a human and cried out. I guess no more beach vacations without her!

4. Charlie is growing up too fast. She pretty much potty trained herself. She started going on her own at 20 months and now at 26 months, she wears undies all the time. (We are on the fence about doing it at night even though she is dry every single morning) Every time she goes: "I pee/poop. HIGH FIVE! I a big grill."

3. Dominic got an MMR booster shot right before we left for the beach, he had an allergic reaction to it. Small red dots showed up all over his body, then small hives. He even woke up the second morning and his ears and face were swollen. "Look Mom, when I push on my cheeks, my eyes go away."

2. While in completely stopped Philly traffic,  Charlie had to go potty. We had Dominic unbuckle and put her into a pullup while she was still in her car seat. There was no where to pull off, we were in 5 lanes of cars. She cried out: "No fank you pull up, I pee in toy-lite!"

1. Logan met a little girl named Ava at the beach. He went over and started playing with her and her Dad digging in the sand. Soon enough they were going into the ocean together, holding hands on the way! Logan said: "I like Ava, She is FANCY!"

Satruday's Top Five Laughs

Another week has come and gone. I really cannot believe how fast the days go by!

5. *Logan pulling Charlie's high chair closer to his* "I gonna has sum of you hot dogs, kay?"

4. Charlie took a step here and there this week. Once she realizes what she is doing, her eyes glaze over and she squeals. Drama Queen !

3. Dominic has had a sassy mouth just about every single morning. Then when he comes home from school he says he is sorry, he was just in a bad mood because he did not sleep enough. Today I laughed at him and advised him how he was asleep before 9 last night! Kids man....

2. Logan climbed onto the Baby Einstein jumperoo and fell backwards. His bum landed in the middle with his feet straight up in the air. He continued to play with his legos as if he meant to do it. Then asked for "Halp! I cant get out!" when he wanted up.

1. *Logan has my purse on his arm, a home made lego gun in the other hand and is pretending to open the front door* "Bye Mama. Have a good day. Miss me." "Logan, where are you going? I hope you have a good day too buddy." "I goin out." *Giggles then runs over to me* "Mama, I NEED a talk a you." "What do you need to talk to me about?" "My bweakfast. Libby eat it all gone."   This kid, he kills me with his imagination and his conversations!

We are off to the History Museum tomorrow since it is going to be cooler and rainy. Then we have lot more spring cleaning to do. Cleaning up and getting rid of stuff that we may still have packed from moving 2 years ago, heh.

Satruday's Top Five Laughs

Happy St. Patrick's Day! My kids are all dolled up in green, how about yours? I hope everyone has a great weekend! Tonight I am going out with several twitter/mommy bloggers and cannot wait :)

5. Logan has been sick. He came home from the Urgent Care with Gary and I said “Aw, Logan. You look pathetic.” Logan “I no thah-thetic.” 

4. Logan takes his blanket and puts it around our shoulders. “Supah hear-row Mummy/Daddy!”

3. Logan started saying “Im okay!” every time he gets hurt. Its adorable when he says it in a pathetic hurt over dramatic voice. 

2. We went to the Symphony with Dominic this past weekend where he was honored for being great in music. He came off stage with his flip recorder hidden up his sleeve so that I could secretly video tape him on stage. No cameras or video were permitted. But I managed to sneak his and my cell phone ;)

1. I took the 2 little ones out for a picnic lunch at the park on Wednesday. Logan quickly made friends with 2 little girls and began running around the park playing with them. Their little toddler giggles and sayings were the greatest! "Ah you a copy cat"  "Ah my bubba, my Char-lit, my Mama, my Daddy, my Libby" " I mell like poop, see my diah-pah"

Hard to believe that another week has come and gone!

5. While I was cooking dinner, I hear a chipmunk toddler voice say “Hey TWACE-EEE OHBEHR!”  Yes my 2 year old shouted my both my first and last name in an attempt to capture my attention. It worked!

4. Logan was coloring easter egg pictures with crayons. “I drew my butt. Now kah-lure (color) it Mama.” And, he was totally using a brown crayon too.

3. Every time Charlie toots, she looks at us and laughs. *sigh* Can you tell she has 2 older brothers?

2. When Charlie is done with her sippy cup or bottle, she looks at it with stink eye. Then she tosses it as to appear to be saying “well that one is not good anymore!”

1. I was at the mall alone with Charlie. She had a super explosion. She giggled as I was rinsing off her clothes in the bathroom sink. The only extra thing I had for her to wear was her coat and a pair of 6 month jeans that fit like capris. Needless to say, I only got to shop in one store that day!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I am solo parenting it all day tomorrow, then taking Dominic to the symphony where he will be honored!

So glad to be done with the work week! We have a birthday party this weekend to go to and the toy show. Also shopping for a new SUV....maybe.

5. Logan was telling me about what he did at school. Logan: "I pway ball. I jump. I poop." Me: "Good to know buddy!"

4. "Hey bubba, I say Justin Beiber!" *background story: Dominic has long hair and so we call him Beiber all the time. It makes him snort laugh. Now Logan is getting in on the action.

3. When Gary or I run the vaccuum, both Libby and Charlie freak out! Libby runs around like a nut bag and barks up a storm. Charlie crawls around screaming and crying. They both go from one side of the room to the next (furthest away from it). I cannot help but crack up just a bit!

2. Gary asked Logan if he wanted to take a bath. Of course he did! In the time it took Gary to get his towel and come back out, Logan was completely naked. Clothes thrown about and diaper in hand waiting to be thrown in the garbage.

1. Logans new thing is to tell us "I need sleep." And it is only when he climbs up on the entertainment stand and lays in front of the TV. When we tell him that if he needs sleep then its time to go to bed, he responds "You shush. I no go to my cwib. I no tired."

I really cannot believe that today is Saturday already! This week flew by :) The Saturday laughs are some of my favorites to write and read. I am thankful that Melissa started this blog hop. I have *met* lots of great bloggers. Thank you for stopping by again to read about my crazy kidlets!

5. We had friends over for dinner the other night. Logan loves Brianna and so he gave her a kiss on the cheek. She had a funny look on her face and wiped the kiss off. So Logan kissed her again. Brianna wiped it off a second time. (obviously she was not impressed with his smooch...SO....) Logan began singing "I'm sexy nan I know it." to her. All the while doing his special dance for her. Only my 2 year old!

4. Logan took Charlies binki. She gave him a dirty look. Slapped him in the face and took it back out of his mouth.

3. We went to get Charlie a pair of early walker shoes at the mall. My Mom had the boys so it was just us with her to minimize the chaos. Logan loves to watch "rowbee bike" on you tube so Gary decided to ask if they had any Yo Gabba Gabba shoes. They did not but Nordstroms did have the Vans. So we went there and got Logan his first (and only!) pair of character shoes. When Logan opened them, he was so excited. "Oh Yo Gabba Gabba. My shoes. Rowbee. Muno. Mine. Mine" And now he shows EVERYONE his shoes. Seriously. He talked about his shoes all day long at daycare too. Kid is obsessed, ha!

2. Libby was running around like the crazy puppy that she is. Charlie was crawling around on the floor. Libby jumped right over her and ran around the kids in circles. Charlie looked up at her with the dirtiest look. (like how dare she bother me) I am crawling around with a little people in my mouth dog so leave me alone!

1. Logan grabbed my cell phone. "Mama I pway angwee birs" "I text Nana. My sway HI." "My go Nana house and see Bellwah." Apparently he has the attention span of a flea.

I hope you enjoy your weekend. We are off to the Vets, the Eye Drs, 2 birthday parties and grocery shopping. It might be a double coffee weekend in our house!

Satruday's Top Five Laughs

So....it is Sunday. I know. BUT I wanted share my laughs. We had a super busy day yesterday and I was way too tired to post when we got home. Yay for great days with family :)

So without further ado.....

5.Logan has a paper jam guitar that he strums. Sings the song and "wahks out" to!

4. Logan has started to tell us when he wakes up: "It's time to get up!"

3. Charlie has started standing. BUT once she realizes she is, she gets a super scared look on her face and falls over!

2. Dominic got picked to attend the symphony for school. He was picked for being smart, talented and interest in music. When his letter came with his tickets "Ah yeah! I am a winner!"

1. Logan blows raspberries on Charlie's belly and her cheeks. She squeals in delight. And now she tries to do it back!!

This week has been a pretty crazy funny one now that we have a puppy to throw into our mix!

5. Logan was playing with the little people. He had a bunch out and was making them talk to each other. Charlie crawled over and took one of the people and put it in her mouth. "Hey, dats mine. Give dat guy back." Then she took the ballerina little person (which is obviously hers) and he took it right back off of her saying it was his. I looked at him and said that it was a princess and it was hers. He preceded to throw it back and hit her with it. "Fine. I don't yant a pwrincess one."

4. The puppy loves to bite things. She follows us around nipping at our toes. Pulling the kids socks off with her teeth. But the funniest is when she nips at Charlie's pony tail. She does not think it is funny and screams but I cannot help but giggle.

3. My kids love fruit. Apples are a favorite around here. Yesterday my MIL was cutting up apples for the little ones. Charlie grabbed hers and said "Ahh whole" 

2. Charlie is too big for 12 month pj's but 18 month pj's are too long. When she crawls around in the bigger jammies, her legs come right out. She gets very frustrated and screams because both legs end up in one leg. 

1. Toddler talk is the best. Logan says the following as of late: orndada juice (orange juice) and whift way (this way).

Satruday's Top Five Laughs

It has been a busy busy 2 weeks. I have so many blog posts to write BUT I need the time to edit pictures and make the posts. This weekend is full of birthday fun for Dominic, so I hope to get them done soonish!

I did not post last Saturday because Dom had his friend party. Here are the best of the last 2 weeks!

5. Dominic turned TEN yesterday. A decade. He was on the phone with our friend and he said "yep, I am 10. I feel OLD!" Ha, kid wait till you're in your thirties, ahem.

4. Charlie started saying "uh oh" about a week and a half ago. She throws her bottle, looks down at it and says "uh oh" and then cries until you give it back to her. It was funny and adorable the first 3 times...now, not so much! ;) She also says "uh oh" when her foot slips while she is walking from furniture pieces!

3. Logan has some puppy stuffed animals. He has taken a real liking to the one his Pappy got him. He was making it kiss him and tickle him. "mwah mwah mwah. (giggling) Ah puppy kissin me. Ticka ticka ticka. (giggling) Ah puppy ticka me."

2. Charlie is a kisser and a lover! Stef and Grant were here for dinner and Charlie gave Lily a few big smooches on the top of her head. She has that adorable fuzzy hair and Charlie made it stand up like a Mohawk with her sloppy kiss. Then my best friend was here this week with her son Bradley. Charlie was smooching all over him too. Big kisses for everyone!

1. Dominic was scratching off the silver coating on one of his 3DS gift cards. He came running out of his room with his bottom lip out. Here he had rubbed the code right off.  I could not help but laugh a bit! *I am hoping to take it back because the entire paper part came off!*

Satruday's Top Five Laughs

If you have not started to link up with Melissa at The Mommyhood Chronicles for Saturday's Top 5 Laughs, then you are really missing out on all the funny!

5. I was spelling a word so that Logan did not understand me. It took me a minute to figure it out, since you know, spell check and all! Dominic looked at me and said "Mom, 10 years of college was not enough. I think you need to go back!"

4. Logan likes to talk to people on the phone. He wanted to talk to his Nana (my Mom) and so I called her and handed over the phone. He chatted with her for a long time. Each time I tried to get the phone back, he would run away "No, no Muma. I talk ah Nana. You go away." I came to find out that he was hanging up on my Mom and calling her back. 5 times. I did not even know he knew how to call someone on my phone.

3. Charlie has started to put her one leg out while she crawls. We call it her crab crawl. She is much slower when she crawls this way than normal crawling but she seems to now prefer it.

2. Pretty sure that I have the ONLY 2 year old boy that asks to go shopping. "Muma, I go Cosco (Costco)." "Muma, I go Tahget." "Muma, I go Gian Eagle."

1. Logan and Charlie played tea party for over an hour. (Logan actually continued to play after Charlie went to bed) It was adorable to watch Logan poor the tea straight from the pot into his mouth. Charlie eat the spoon and cup. Share star puffs together. "I playin tea pahtay wif Char Char." Charlie would squeal in delight.

We are having a LAZY SATURDAY at our house. And I cannot wait to get back to it. PJ's, Movies complete with popcorn, candy, pop and a whole day of nothingness but our couch! Hope you enjoy your day as much as we will ;)

Satruday's Top Five Laughs

First laughs of 2012! These ones are all about the babies. Dom did not have much funny in him this week. He was way too busy playing with his new goodies!

5.  Logan’s new thing to do is to put his hands in his jeans pocket and stand there. Sometimes he will bop his head up and down like Joe Cool!

4. Logan likes to share his food with his sister. Sometimes, it is not the appropriate food to share. While we were taking down the tree, Logan and Charlie had their snacks in the high chairs. We look over and Charlie is covered in M&M’s and candy canes. Logan thought it was a good idea to share with her. Her face was covered in different colors and it soaked through her bib, shirt, under-shirt and onto her skin. Tie-dye Baby!

3. Logan runs around cupping his hands around his mouth and calling out “Ah juice, hair are you?” Like his cup will magically say, HERE I AM LOGAN!  He calls out for toys and food too.  When he finds whatever he was looking for, he says “Oh my gosh. I fine it!”

2. My mother in law has been watching the kids since she has been off. Logan stands at the window waiting for her to come in and calls out “Gaga, eww mist me!”

1. Logan was yelling and being cranky. I told him that he was being impolite. He responded “Mama. Be quiet!” Well then later that night, he put his monkey in his red car’s chair. “Money. Now calm down and yisten to da point.”

And finally a sweet extra cute and funny nugget for you… Charlie was playing with her baby brush. We look up and she WAS BRUSHING HER HAIR!

Satruday's Top Five Laughs

I cannot believe that this is the LAST top five for 2011! I hope 2012 is as funny as 2011. Happy New Year from my fun lovin family to yours :)

5. While opening Christmas presents, Logan would get all wide eyed. Mouth open. Looking at the present. “Wow. Mama yook. My pessant. Open it. I play.” EVERY SINGLE GIFT!

4. Dominic was opening his netbook. We played a trick on him. It was wrapped inside 2 diaper boxes. He opened the first Huggies box and looked at us in disbelief.  He then figured out what was going on. “Oh you….this trick, really?” Then opened the next diaper box and got to his box. And it was a plain brown box. Confused again, he looked at us and said “What is this?” Finally, after awhile of looking at it, he got it open and his face was PURE JOY!  *Ah love to play little jokes on my kids*

3. Charlie likes to make sounds. She smiles and puts her lips together. “pppppfffffffffffhhhhh” Like she is blowing out a candle.

2. Logan started to play hide and seek recently. He runs to the corner. Starts counting “1…2…3…” then turns around

 with his hands over his eyes.  He pulls them off really quick and says “I found me!” If you do not play along with him he looks at you with a pouty face and says “Ah whats da point?” bwahaha. This kid. He kills me.

1. Charlie’s new thing is to bounce up and down while she is sitting. This makes her scoot around on the hardwood floor on her butt. She gets a huge smile on her face and giggles in delight. I should put a swiffer duster on her rear and put that girl to work!

And for your laughing pleasure….an extra one to bring in the New Year! Logan was licking an ice cube, looked up at us and said “Wow, dis is petty good!”

Satruday's Top Five Laughs

Welcome to another addition of Saturday Top Five Laughs. With last weekend being so crazy, I did not participate and am looking forward to sharing my favorite post!

5. When Logan is thinking about something, he taps his finger on his chin and says "hmmmm"
4. I put Logan in underwear to see how it would go. Just seeing his little tiny bum in "unees" made me giggle!
3. Charlie gets so proud of herself now. She can pull her self up (in her crib, on people, on the couch, the ottoman) and she gets a big grin on her chubby face. I die from the cute. I laugh when she starts to get too excited and jumps up and down....then she falls over!
2. Logan spoon fed Charlie some of his applesauce at dinner. "Yant some asslesauce baby?" He got it everywhere. He nose, her eye, his cup, the floor and a little bit in her mouth.
1. When we were at the orthopedic getting Dom's hand double checked for a fracture, the Dr said it was just bruised but he could miss gym for 2 weeks. Dom's response: "But we are only dancing in gym. I like it and I don't even need my thumb for the moves. So I won't hurt it again if I dance."

Welcome to another addition of Saturday Top Five Laughs. With last weekend being so crazy, I did not participate and am looking forward to sharing my favorite post!

 5. Charlie is pulling up on the furniture now. And crawling like a champ. Logan looks over at her and says "Go Chahree Go. Mama, Chahree tandin." Then Charlie grabbed his coloring page off the ottoman, got herself down and started to chew on it.  Logan "No baby. No. Mine. Bad Boy!" 

4. Dominic was upset about something. Logan looks at me and starts singing "If eww feelin sad, da firs ting you do do, calm calm down." And then I died from the cute and funniness of him. 

3. Charlie is eating real food now. When we go to sit down for dinner. She squeals in delight. If we eat in the living room and she is sitting with us (and not in her high chair) she lunges forward to get at our food. Girlfriend loves her some food. And gets very angry very quickly if you cannot keep it coming at her pace of eating. Yowza!

2. Charlies hair is growing so much. It is lighter and lighter. But the dark parts are still there. They are the long "rat tail" looking ones in the back and front. Poor thing looks like she is straight out of a bad 80's film. 

1. Logan has been steeling Charlie's binki a lot lately. We take it off of him and ask him if he is a big boy or a baby. He usually replies "I a baby, I yant a B." And we tell him no, he is a big boy. No more B's for you. Then his response was "I a BIG BABY!" And Gary and I rolled on the floor laughing. 

I hope you have a fabulous week. Mine will turn around after yesterday. I start a 10 day vacation today and cannot wait to spend time with my kids. Even if we have 3-4 doctor appointments next week for them.

Saturday's Top Five Laughs

 

I cannot believe that the weekend is finally here! Only a few more weeks until Christmas :) We are getting excited in this house!

5. Dominic is not on the Santa boat anymore. When we were leaving to go buy our last gift for a grab bag, he asked if he could pick something out at the game store for him for Christmas. I repeated that this was the last gift that we had to buy and that we were done shopping. His response "You mean you are even done buying from the fat guy too?" 

4. Logan's new thing to do when we tell him he cannot have something is folding his arms and putting his head down while he says "Ahhhhh. But pwease." And when we respond No again, he gets the pout going. 

3. Logan is a cuddle bug. Always has been. Lately he has been giving lots of hugs and asks for kwisses. Then he smiles. This week he started asking "Daddy kwiss Muma." And when he gives me a kiss, Logan giggles in delight. Then if Gary tries to do it without Logan's permission, he gets very upset and says "No Daddy, my Muma. No kwis hah." 

2. Logan randomly sings songs and dances around the room. He loves the song by LMFAO and calls it "Robot No Pants" And he likes the song for Kia commercial with the hampsters. Gary has a Kia and each time the commercial comes on "Daddy car. Daddy a hampah."

1. This year is great for gift wrapping gifts. Dom is out of the Santa thing. Logan and Charlie are too young to realize his gifts are being wrapped in front of them.  While I was wrapping gifts, I looked over and Logan had unwrapped a toy. "Ah Muma, my pesahnt. Me opahn." And he did that twice more. Talk about being helpful ;)

Saturday Top Five Laughs

There is no link up this week for Melissa at The Mommyhood Chronicles but I decided to share my laughs anyway!

5. When Charlie eats puffs or Cheerios and we take her out of her high chair, we play How many are sticking to her butt game.

4. Charlie is getting into things a lot lately. When Logan is trying to color on the floor, she crawls over and eats the paper. This makes Logan pretty upset. "No baby. Mine. No eat paypah. My colah."


3. Logan was trying to find one of his toys. He was spinning in circles "I not fine it."

2. Logan will grab his coloring books and bring them over to us. "Muma, yets do homewahk."

1. The dentist told Dom that he had hair like Justin Bieber. Dom rolled his eyes and said "Nah, its just long because I do not like to get cold in the winter. Its my hair coat. I do not like Justin Bieber. I mean, I do like his music but not his hair." (ha, hair coat. kid kills me!)

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I am off to clean, pick out our Christmas tree, grocery shop and then finally decorate for Christmas! Christmas photo's tomorrow of the kids. I can hardly wait!!
