Hallowboo party of 5

On Saturday we went to Idelwild park for Hallowboo.  Idelwild is a local amusement park that has rides open, the park decorated for Halloween and trick or treating through their storybook forest.

Well, it was 80 degrees. In PA. In October. So, needless to say, we had to run out for a different costume for Charlie so she did not get over heated. I choose an adorable lady bug costume for her. Logan wanted to be Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba and Dominic wanted to be a Hobo. All can be used again for actual Halloween except the Lady Bug....which is totally fine because we have another one for her ;)

The day started off rough. Dom was attitude city. The babies were whining and crying. We were running late. I was stressing because of all the things. Dom and Logan were hungry and did not want to wait to get there so we parked and gave them some food. We arrived to find traffic backed up for what seemed like miles. Oh, did I mention that it was about time for Logan to take his nap when we got there. I didn't? Oh, well, yeah that too! I could not help but think "OMG. Why did we choose to do this with 3 KIDS?"

We parked, changed the babies. Packed the 2 strollers. Helped Dom finalize his make up. There. Ready we were! Whew.

We got in the park. Gary and I grabbed a chicken sandwich and fries. Gave the kids some drinks and off we went.

First up, maze. The boys went in while Charlie and I hung out and took pics.
The boys were playing around and so excited!
Logan as Brobee. He calls him Rohbee.
Charlotte as a little lady bug. She is the cutest little bug.
 Dominic is a handsome hobo.
Waiting till we go to the next ride at the Carousel.

The boys wanted pony rides. We happily obliged.
The smiles on them were priceless.
 The scenery was perfect!
All of the water throughout the park was colored blue, green or purple!
 The boys loved the fountain.
Logans first ride was the Carousel. He loved it. Big smiles.
The boys rode on ponys while Charlie and I sat on a sleigh.
 Daddy and his little bug.
The boys favorite part...BALL PITT. Logan has no fear. None.
Trick or treating through Story Book Forest.
Logan slept for the trick or treating. Don't worry. Daddy grabbed all his goodies for him and Logan ate them as soon as he woke up.

The day started off rough. It ended with big smiles, laughs and all of us being thankful to have had the experience.
