These moments are what make life worth living

We went to a new farm this weekend to pick our pumpkins. Reilly's Farm had a living social deal that I could not pass up! Hay ride. Games. Face painting. Petting zoo. And much much more...for only half price! I love a good deal.

We were on a mission. A mission to get a ton of small pumpkins for Logan's birthday party, a pumpkin for each kid to pick as their own and not go crazy in the process. Check, check and surprisingly CHECK!

We started off by jumping on the hay ride up to the pumpkin patch. Along the way, we found some teeny tiny pumpkins that did not make it to the picking fields.

Daddy pulled the littles and I followed behind with the camera. (pretty much how it always is, me following with a camera, ha!)

As soon as we got in the pumpkin patch, Logan fell. The boy is always tumbling over.

Charlie was unimpressed with just about everything. Girlfriend is so serious sometimes.

Dominic was ready to run in and grab all the pumpkins he could get!

Charlie was upset that the ground was not even. She was upset that her hands kept getting dirty.

Logan sat on a pumpkin for a picture but ended up looking like he had to use the bathroom.

Dominic found his perfect pumpkin at the end of the patch. Good thing because it weighed in at over 25 pounds. It is a rule in our house that you must carry your own pumpkin. We tell him each year. And every year he gets a pumpkin that makes him sweat by the time he gets to the car!

Logan tried pulling the wagon with all 15 pumpkins. It lasted a whole 15 seconds.

We had to wait awhile to get back on the hay ride to the pumpkin weight station. Charlie thought it was a good time to keep pulling out all the little pumpkins.

Dominic was a trooper with helping with the littles. Between the 63 pounds worth of pumpkins we had and the toddlers, we had a lot to keep track of.

The adventure was a success. We have all the pumpkins we need for Logans party. We had a great family day. The kids each picked their perfect pumpkin and we only had small toddler melt downs.

Charlie reminds me so much of Lexie when she was that age. Such sass and seriousness!
