Frozen in the heat of summer

After our camping night, we decided to surprise our girls with a trip to meet their favorite princesses! It was a secret until we were on our way.

Elsa and Anna are the premiere princesses in our house and the houses of our friends. Charlie watches frozen a few times a week and plays with her toys everyday.

First up was getting tattoo's. Charlie loved her sparkly colorful snowflake.

Next up was coloring pages and other crafts. Charlie wanted to color ever page they had! She loves to color and even tried taking a stack of pages with us for home. She is a stinker.

It was hot and the girls were getting cranky and hungry. I ran into panera to get them all a chocolate chip cookie and we brought water with us. We thought ahead! It helped while we were waiting in the long line to go in and see Anna and Elsa.

While waiting, we saw Olaf. Charlie loved waiving from afar but she wanted nothing to do with getting close or taking pictures with him. Lily loved him. The other Lily, not so much. Steph had to hold her to get a picture.

Soon enough it was our turn to see the princesses. The look on Charlie's face was priceless. Worth every penny spent, worth the time standing in the heat and worth hearing her whine that she was so hungry! Her little life was made.

Her smile, her holding their hands...it is all so adorable. I love it. I love her and being her Mom. I love our friends and that we get to do things like this together. It was a great weekend of camping and princess surprises!
